I volunteer to raise funds for cancer organizations. Our fundraising team name is More Than Ribbons, and our activities can be found at our team website (see below).
Our team name is “More Than Ribbons.” The ribbons are pretty and they are a great way to show support and spread awareness (trust me, I have my share of pink around here), but they are such a small piece of the puzzle. We are more than cancer. We are people. We are sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, friends, workers. We are fighters. We are survivors. We are mourners. We are More Than Ribbons.
And lemme just take a minute to brag…I made that logo up there. I’m pretty proud of it. It took hours to create! I hope you like it, too. Please don’t steal it. 😉
